Looks a good ride chaps. Mind you we had better weather not too much further east and us soft southerners did way more miles than you lot!

We had a good day out on Sunday.
Some of the roads we went down were a bit off the beaten track but I enjoyed seeing parts of Derbyshire I never knew about.
It wasn't as warm as I thought it'd be so I still haven't used my summer jacket without a coat on top.
Steve and Frank kept trying to lose us but they never quite managed it, despite steve thrashing the nuts off his Burger.
Clive was unlucky getting a puncture after a couple of hours, but at least he managed to limp home.
Other than that , there were no problems and we had an iteresting tour of the peak district.
After saying goodbyes at the Cat n Fiddle in the wind and rain, we headed down the A6 . Victor carried on his way and me and Bobo stopped off at matlock Bath for pop and ice cream.
It was packed,, as expected but we managed to park on the main street. We had a 20 minute wander round looking at the bikes, enjoying the ice cream along the side of the river. Then we headed on down the A6 and I turned off towards Ripley and Bobo carried on through Belper and Derby to Hinckley.
Thanks to everyone who turned up.
And a big thankyou to Frank for organising things. And thanks also to "our lass" for providing the Chocolate Brownies as usual.

Yes as said before thanks Frank for the run. I did need the breaky before we started as it was an early one for me. Great roads, great guys and great brownies.

When he says "our lass" he means my lass. If you think her brownies are good you should try her muffins.

Is that an option for the next meet?
