No such thing as a FLT license, you may well have undergone training and passed a test that determined you were competent at the time you were tested, but thats all it is...... and the fact that your counterbalance training was 12 years ago would place your employer in a whole lot of bother if you were to have an accident whilst driving one.......

That's it! I doubt I'm going to do my bike licence as long as I can keep doing cbt's every 2 years as I don't need more than a 125 for what I use my scooter for - commuting 16 miles a day to work! I don't go on weekend jollies as I go on my mountain bike then.
it costs about 200 quid to do test
100 quid every two years for cbt is mad

I have no experience of riding before the cbt, I've seen some videos of the test and think I'd need lessons with the mod 1 and more experience with the mod 2.

Picky picky I passed my cert in 2000 and renewed it everytime it was needed, sorry so so much for not stating that in my first post. So in the same context all a bike/car license is to show you're competent at driving one of those then yeah?

Held a provison bike license from 2004-2008.
Full (automatic) bike license from 2008.
No other license except for what I presume is a full moped license as well.
