I think in the main until recently the maxi scooter scene has been lacking new and interesting models. Though like everything else it sometimes goes in phases...

French? OK. Decent wine. Good cooking. Better weather. No more nasty Germans to deal with, at least from a military point of view. I can accept that.

Where my little holiday house is, there are about as many Brits as French. The English language forums are full of Brits. Most sites have litle Union Jacks in the upper right corner - not the Stars and Stripes. It speaks to what Brits think about their own little island...
