The Leonardo will be the yam engine one as it was a 250.

There was another Leo around 2004 that was known as a 300. These had a 264cc engine. They were not piaggio engines, think they might of been a total engine. I'd avoid a 300 as hardly any more power but I guess as there was not many Leo 300's parts could be a issue.

Sym's come on today and looks bargain-tastic. But I'm getting drawn (suckered, fished in?) to the Satelis. Have contacted seller and actually seems genuine enough. Their sending more photos and for that price I've definitely got to take a look.

Why did they get AA out to it to get it running?

Flat battery seller says, new battery fitted. This is why I'm not 100% about it. Could be fine, could be a dud, but for that money I need to check it out.

There is a lot of love for that Leo. From my point of view, its not high on the list. I'm not after power, more about a comfortable ride in all weathers.

Me? No. Because ABS is the killer feature for me. I would gladly take the lower hp in order to get that. There are a couple of people and at least one deer still living because I had ABS when I needed it.

Otherwise you would - in my opinion - be choosing between more speed (Leo) against more comfort/storage/security with the Sat. The 125 probably won't get much better MPG than the Leo for the type of journey in question, so I would discount that. I imagine insurance and road tax would benefit the Sat too, but not by much.

So in conclusion, I would buy a Satelis 250. (I'm on my 3rd).
