Looks like I will not be going down the pearlescent route as its £20 a metre so it would cost £100 roughly just for the white bits. If I got teh white/blue on special order I would have to buy a whole roll of 50 metres at £750

So I will be purchasing soon x5m of gloss white, x5m of gloss red, x2m of gloss black, for 7-8 year premium grade wrap and x1m of chrome for lettering, etc.

If I could fix the painted white/blue pearlescent panels I'd just buy clear to cover it, maybe I'll give it another go and see.

Got my replacement handle bar panel today to replace the nicked one, only cost £22 second hand but would have been £110 brand new, I got a bargain!

This is going to be my final bill ex vat (barring any accidents)

I got tempted by irridecent (oily finish) but at £45 a metre thats a little over budget

Re-vinyl wrapped the new handle bar badge section today and I made a much cleaner job of the finishing on the hidden section so in a way I pleased version 1 got stolen :D

Got the vinyl wrap today minus the clear wrap, will take photos of it tomorrow. The white/blue pearlescent looks the same as the current color so I am well chuffed even though its £20 a metre. Its cheaper than a respray :D

A variation of this maybe?

Except I don't brand names (aside from yamaha) etc... its all too cliche... I have had a hard couple of weeks at work in my defense

I am definitely going with the white red black base I came up with, its just the flair on top I can't decide on

I love those brake discs...

Looking nice. Although I'd change a couple of things.

I'd remove all stripes except the black ones at the lower red fairing and the black ones at the white side fairing under the saddle.
The rest look forced.

I'd also remove the tiger and use a Yamaha logo instead.

tiger was a random after thought  I agree with you

I also agree on those stripes they were the first ones I put on after that everything got messy :D

So I am finding wrapping as anticipated, a steep learning curve, but doable. The three panels I have done look good from about two feet away but close up you can see where things have gotten stuck under the wrap. I might live with it this time round but my third panel is looking better than the first... so I may revisit that first panel, I got plenty of extra wrap as I had anticipated a few retries on certain panels. :D
