Seriously, I went from a Burger to my FJR. Same experience as you, plenty of power but a heavy bastard. After my Euro trip this year I am seriously thinking of going back to a big maxi. More than likely a Burger unless anything better comes along. These heavy touring bikes are for stronger, younger men. :mrgreen:

Well the Sunbeam did an S7 and an S8. One did have the fat tyres, but I can't remember which way round it was.

S7 had Fat tyres - S8 had thinner rubbers.

And the wheels were inter changable as the the s series was set up as an ideal outfit machine.

its always nice to see and hear someone returning or perhaps we can call a holiday
