Seriously, I went from a Burger to my FJR. Same experience as you, plenty of power but a heavy bastard. After my Euro trip this year I am seriously thinking of going back to a big maxi. More than likely a Burger unless anything better comes along. These heavy touring bikes are for stronger, younger men.

Well the Sunbeam did an S7 and an S8. One did have the fat tyres, but I can't remember which way round it was.

S7 had Fat tyres - S8 had thinner rubbers.

And the wheels were inter changable as the the s series was set up as an ideal outfit machine.
