I think we are over dramatising somewhat! The Burger had a bit more engine braking than most, but it wasn't that extreme! I actually found it quite a good feature as you could trundle down the steepest of hills (esp in power mode) without touching your brakes but in complete control. I actually wish the TMax was more like that.
Put in Dr. Pulley Sliders and the engine braking increases off-throttle!
