Lyn I've tried to send you a private message regarding the ride but it won't work I'm afraid ,after getting home from the ponderosa I could hardly walk due to my Arthritus and so I think a 250 trip to Dover is a little too far and the return of nearly 400 miles is way to far for me to contemplate doing I'm sorry if it affects the plans that have been made and I don't mind paying my share of the costs if that will help I hope you have a great trip and I'm sure I will see you on the shorter runs that I still hope to do,Phil

You could always break journey with another overnight stop each way .It's like people say can't tour on a 125 not big enough .It is if you do lower daily mileages .

Wife suggested another hotel on the way back but I am of the opinion at this time that that wouldn't be enough the way I am feeling at this time perhaps I will do a few rides and see how I feel later in the year as to whether I should attempt something like this.

I've got this trip booked in my diary, so if you don't feel well enough to go, can I be first reserve, I assume anything booked can be transfered, I've not booked anything yet, so could take your place, but hopefully you will get better.

I,m not unwell Dave I just don't think I am up to the long ride to and from Ypres it's just I havnt really done a really long ride on my scooter and with the Arthritus in my ankle and hip I think I would be taking a bit of a risk,I would love to do it but I,m afraid I can't commit to this trip,I,m sure Lyn and Jas would welcome you on to the ride and perhaps when I have got a few decent rides under my belt not this yr but maybe in future yrs I might think differently
