Thanks People. Didn't find what i was looking for on there, but they are out there. I'll keep an eye on the Italian and French ebay sites.
One thing I did notice on there was shorter stem mirrors. I'm forever pulling my mirrors in to et through traffic and have thought about maybe trying some shorter stem mirrors. ISTR, reading some older Ducati ones fit? Anyway, anyone ever fitted shorter stem mirrors to a mk3?

No..I thought the mk3's long mirror stems were rather elegant! There again, I didn't do so much traffic busting on it. I'd love longer ones on the mk6 - I can only mostly see my elbow through the left one!Taipan wrote: One thing I did notice on there was shorter stem mirrors. Yes they do give excellent rear vision, but stick out too far when filtering in London. Might have to make a compromise with the shorter stem ones, but I could use them all the time?MrGrumpy wrote:No..I thought the mk3's long mirror stems were rather elegant! On the early versions (mk1 & 2), there was a sneaky trick where you could mount them the other way round (maybe put the right one on the Left side - not sure) where the actual mirror glass would be vertical rather than horizontal making it narrower, but still with some visibility. The mk3 is completely different, so it probably wouldn't work on that...Taipan wrote: Yes they do give excellent rear vision, but stick out too far when filtering in London. I have, in my parts pile, a MK3 adapter kit I got from Taiwan as like in the below eBay link. I never got around to using them so I'd be willing to let them go £15 if you want them?

They'd certainly give me a wider choice, so yes please. I can PayPal you the cash by friends and family, but can you post them or hang on to them for a couple of weeks as I dont have a lot of free time to collect at present...Funkycowie wrote:I have, in my parts pile, a MK3 adapter kit I got from Taiwan as like in the below eBay link.
