Will an X3 fit the XMAX, and if so what would be the best area to lock?
At the moment l have a Luma Bumper 38 that l have had for years, but am looking to upgrade.
Yamaha supply the Datatool Stealth as a “freebie” if a subscription is taken out. I have signed up for 12 months to try it out.

The dimensions are on their website and I'd be tempted to create a mockup in cardboard to avoid sending stuff back.

Locations which work on the Forza are:

Through the back wheel spokes and one side of a shock mount. Lock body ends up resting on the final drive case. Not the cleanest location, but fills the shackle and very difficult to access with any tool.

Through the front wheel spokes and fork leg so the body is resting on the brake calliper. A bit more open but cleaner.

I think it would go round the front wheel rim but can't see why you would grant such easy access with a grinder or chisel, using the floor as the work bench. They might even get a small bottle jack inside the shackle. Maybe this location does allow you to loop a shorter length of chain through the D though, preventing lifting into a van if street furniture is available?

Google images seems to show use on the forks but I don't know the model well enough to confirm. The lazy quarter wits at MCN of course show the most useless positioning, one step beyond hanging it off the handlebars 🙄
