Styling wise there are definite elements of PCX and Faze250 in there.
But why does it have to be grey?
Just because John Major poked Edwina Currie it doesn't mean that grey is sexy.

Re: Piaggio X10
Any word on price yet of the 125? as you know from my other thread, i'm after either the piaggio xevo or honda s-wing. its a battle between them. if the x10 is under the £3800 that the honda is, i might hold out for that one though. in looks alone the x10 is far nicer looking

Re: Piaggio X10
Looks fat.
I'd prefer a middling engine (250cc-ish to 400cc) in as small a frame as possible. Pity they dont do an auto-version of the Ninja 250, as the width on that is quite narrow.

Piaggio X10: home stretch!
Written by: Maya Camus
Piaggio's new X10 will be presented to the press in ten days, and before long reign in the concessions in three displacements (125, 300 and 500 cm3).
The GT Premium, worthy heir to the X9 (which is still popular in time!), Presents itself as one of the best equipped of the moment, thanks to safety features like ABS (on front and rear wheels ) and ASR (traction control off) versions of its Executive. The basic version of Elegance will benefit in turn coupled to the brake lever right.
Another asset security as Piaggio, position lights and LEDs to fire central lenticular 55 W front can better see and be seen better.
Pending trial and the video, find in our previous news complete information and photos from X10!

Re: Piaggio X10
Scooter Station has a page with updates on the tech. Some pics, so have a dive in. To be honest it does not sound that great an advance, tech-wise. apart from Beverley's ABS/ASR it gets backlit handlebar controls and a USB socket. Hmm..
Oh well, at least they've ditched the stupid 2 boot openings set-up on the X8/evo.

Piaggio X10: The top of the equipment?
In a few days writing SCOOTER Station.com take the measure of THE major new 2012 scooter segment 125: The X10 Piaggio. Before a full test to read online by the end of the week, we offer today to take stock of equipment on GT, advertised as especially luxurious.
To regain leadership in the category of GT scooters, Piaggio released the X10, a worthy successor in scooters born "X", a love letter to the manufacturer Alps. After the X9, X9 Evo, X8, Xevo, Evo X7 and X7, X10 and its place in the panoply of equipment advertised as high-end accessories. Indeed, the first distinctive feature of the new X10 125, 350 and 500, the new dashboard Piaggio. It revolves around a large central block 4-inch LCD, distilling plethora of useful information. The digital pad is flanked by two meter needle, left speed, right engine speed. Side orders, Piaggio innovates. Indeed, for the first time in the world of scooter handlebar controls are backlit, a plus for safety. Beneath the arch, there are a series of buttons to unlatch the fuel door or that of the saddle, and other by activating the hazard lights or disabling audience ABS / ASR (for versions Executive only).
GT wagon version!
Payload side, under the splendid seat backrest lumbar to independent (and adjustable), we can largely store two full face helmets announced Piaggio, since the volume of this space is 52 liters. But that's not all, because the deck against him contains some innovations such as the three pockets or the presence of a USB plug. As for the rest of the equipment, there is a courtesy light inside the trunk, it is carpeted, a system for holding the seat with a hydraulic jack, a bubble shaped and particularly icing on the cake, a power-adjustable rear shock preload on the model equipped with the Piaggio single cylinder 500 cm3. In terms of driving comfort, faced with this bunch of equipment, so we imagine the new X10 a cut above the rest. But to be sure, it was not until the end of the week and the full test carried out by Scooter-Station.com. Stay tuned!
