hatter wrote:FAO Tall Paul. Does the Scoot have an chip in the key? What you describe suggests the spare is not chipped as it turns but does not fire. Of couse I could be completely wrong!
Sorry hatter, I didn't realize I had a Reply. No mate, the key was okay it was turning over but not firing, I had the battery charged Overnight and checked the plug. I ended up getting a mobile mechanic through my home start/breakdown cover. He got it going after a while and I took it for run, seems okay again.

Knackered the speedo cable on the Foresight by riding off after forgetting to remove the D lock from the front wheel
No other damage done except a lovely big bruise on my leg where the bike fell on it. Only locked it as extra security as some kids were running wild and having a party in our road last night so its not part of my usual procedure.

Replaced the midsize Givi windscreen back to the small sports screen because it simply looks much better.

Now I have 2 Givi screens for the X9 for sale ( high and midsize ), if someone is interested please PM me. Both are in good condition without scratches. Price is 50 Euros each plus shipping 16.50 Euros to UK

Gave the nexus yet another oil & filter change & a valet. 4500miles in the last 5 weeks sure takes it toll on the poor thing. :(
