Re: Ten Grand Scooter
Even if I won the lottery I wouldn't buy one.
I've never paid more than £5450 on a vehicle, which was last month, although the £3300 I spent on a Z1300 back in 1985 works out at £7600 in today's money.

Must have missed it
...... which only goes to prove that 99% of readers either don't read previous posts, if they do they don't read carefully enough or read what they think the posts say.

I'm thinking BMW have gone bonkas. I certainly wouldn't pay that much for sometime like that...

We can all go on about the prices BMW are looking to charge, but at the end of the day, it's down to choice.
If you don't want to spend that sort of money, you don't have to.

Re: Ten Grand Scooter
The problem is that BMW at the moment has no experience in making scooters. And I wouldn't pay 10 grand just to provide the manufacturer with the experience they need.
I like the company but I'd feel like a test subject if I bought it.
I'd feel more comfortable paying that much money to a company with 10+ years of experience in scooters, and there are a couple out there.

Trouble is nothing will change regardless of us moaning about it or not. But it still gives a good feeling to moan about itZed wrote:True. But people should still be allowed to moan about itburgerman wrote:If you don't want to spend that sort of money, you don't have to.
