As it sounds like all this started after big braking/stall to avoid a car I think Dave's tilt switch observation is favourite - make sure you mention this possibility to Aye Gee, could also be your cheapest solution.

where would this switch be located on the burgman? If it's something i can check, i'd rather do that before dragging it all the way to them

It is buried behind the headlight - a pain to reach
I'd let them plug it in and read off the fault code
I don't think the tilt switch would flash the immobiliser circuit but I don't know that for sure

How about tilt the bike as far as you dare and give it a good shake?
The other thing I forgot to mention and would be favourite for me is the TDC sensor. Common fault on modern vehicles. When I've had a failure in the past I've got away with taking out the TDC sensor and just cleaning the point with a knife blade or something.

Dunno, i just took it out and sent the photos. It was wet with petrol smell. Is that normal? I didnt try starting the engine since last night... Also as you can see from the photos, its quite darkened on the tip.
It is not ngk as the one i ordered on ebay (cr7e) so i hope that wouldnt be an issue when i try the new one. Its a brand called denso.
So to see if there is a spark, would i need to connect it up to the ht lead with the ht lead out of socket, and then try starting the engine up?

What is a tdc sensor mate?

Put plug back in plug cap put outside of plug onto engine casing to get an earth clean a section up if you need to press it onto casing with insulated pliers so you dont get a shock press starter see if it sparks starter will turn a lot quicker as no compression with plug out .Might pay to clean plug up its sooty so hasnt been running properly but obvisously you have been trying to start if you smell petrol thats a good sign at least you know somes going in
