Pikey you could always break up your journey going via Melton Mowbray from Junction 24 M1 kegworth through some twist and turns \A6006 thru Rutland three rideout in one

Its going north to go south for me thanks tho .Im happy going thro a few towns on the way never been to Cambridge Plus want to see what A14 is like all the way for future holidays as we never holiday on east coast plus Harwich ferry down that way never done that route .

you could follow A6 at Burton Latimer and go left at Clophill towards Buntingford and to Bishops Stotford then then onwards this was part of my journey when I did on my 125 all in one day
