Re: first time rider
Divided opinions on here but I'd suggest fitting bar muffs instead (or as well perhaps) they're cheap and easy to fit and stop wind-chill and wet glove syndrome.
However I accept that they make you and bike look a bit of a fashion faux-pa.

Yeah...I think they look at bit dodgy IMO..may just stick to the grips if they are easy enough to fit.

Re: first time rider
always found them to be a waste of time and money
they keep the palm warm but dont stop wind chill
spend the extra money on a good set of winter gloves
just my 2p

Re: first time rider
I put heated grips on my Kawasaki, it was ok but not as good as I thought it may have been. So on the Max i put bar muffs on which I wear with my very good quality winter gloves and I have to say so far I have very nice snug hands. I work shift work so I am often riding home late on a winter night, and I have even been out on the motorway at 1am on a winters morning with no problems.dogfood09 wrote:Thanks for the info guys...the bike I am getting does not have heated grips...
