I once had a Peugeot Elystar 150 which developed a brilliant fault with the dash. The scoot was all done at 75mph, but the fault caused the speedo to read exactly double the actual. So I can honestly say that I am probably the only person to have had 150mph on the clock from a standard 150cc scooter.

That sounds more fun than any of my baffling Aprilia Atlantic electrical gremlins - the most amusing of which was one occasion when all the needles on all the gauges suddenly made a complete circuit of their dials, before returning to normal positions!!!!
