Well doneDougL wrote:Unfortnately, I didn't realise the purpose of the meeting was to concentrate on something new from the big K. No time to talk about anything else and I've signed a confidentiality agreement, so I can't say anything here. It was high level, as there were a fair few Japanese bigwigs there...
Sounds exciting and interesting.
Frustrating too, when you hear/read guesses and nonsense and you can't chip in with the truth

Okay All, I'm happy you lot all chipped in and so quickly too!
Yes, I know exactly what you mean with the Honda analogy and yes, I now know a little more about MK, so thank you for that.
I realise that these other companies need a chance and they may get where Honda is now. It's interesteing to find this stuff out form you lot and edify meself! I'm glad I joined Muppets
I will go and check Hero and WK out.
However, I won't be risking my money on WK just yet as an 'early adopter', which may contradict my last statement above. Someone else can be that early adopter for now.

Yup - in my town, there is a WK dealer (well a tiny workshop) and the nearest Piaggio dealers are in Newcastle and York (both 40 miles away), Nearest Ducati in Newcastle, Harley Ditto, BMW in Sunderland and York.gn2 wrote:
You shouldn't have too much difficuty finding a dealer, where I live there are more WK Dealers than Piaggio, Ducati, Harley Davidson and BMW combined.
