My main concern is about your knee that may need some sort of scan

So sorry to hear of your RTA Funky

.
On the bright side - my Joyride was knocked over and scratched almost every single panel (the woman tried to pick it up!). It was looking like a write-off due to the huge panel cost, but instead I got the bike shop to send all panels to Avalon Fairings, who did a totally brilliant paint job in the colour of my choice. £350 IIRC.

So now it's deep laquered Rosso Corsa instead of SYM's 'Crap Grey' and looks fabulous. The guy even rang me up a week after and checked I was happy with the finish, plus I got spare paint for touching up chips (not been needed yet).
I hope you get better soon. I slip on 661 knee pads when I go riding - might be worth a thought as your knee might be a bit tender for a little while

.
ETA: And yes - get your knee checked out - they are hell later on in life if damaged.

I agree funky, this is what I've been saying, you really need to get checked out, When i had my Big accident, i didn't get checked out but years later had major problems and i couldn't claim.

As I said, doctors tomorrow, if my doctor thinks I need a x-ray he will send me for one... he's good like that. Less wait time. As for knee's my Hood Kevlar Jeans with knee pads did a fantastic job and came away looking unscathed... had I not been an ATGATT rider my knees would be a mess as would the rest of me.

Sorry to read about your accident. Hope the injuries are nothing to be concerned about and will be feeling better soon. Get everything fully checked out though. You'll get the bike sorted in time, but that's not the priority.

Knees. elbows, ankles and wrists , joints that are very difficult to repair and cause lots of problems. So things like Hood jeans make good sense as apposed to t shirts, shorts and trainers. Let us know how you get on with the doctor Funcky, thinking of you.

I agree, even with all this nice weather we're having i still use all my riding gear but i still see riders out there in T shirts & shorts and i quiver in horror thinking about if they should have a accident.
I call it ( it will never happen to me syndrome ) BIG mistake....... I would rather sweat my cotton socks off in all my riding gear

Definitely! I have to admit in

that i've been riding with just standard trousers in the intense heat we've had recently, and should stop doing that and this incident should serve a big wake up call.
Hope nothing serious with your knees mate. Let us know when you had a good check over by the doctor/specialist.

Doctor is not concerned, just like I wasn't really, about the possible knock out... hungry not vomiting, lucid and logical straight after incident and in the evening, no headaches... she reckons I am just a bit battered a bruised, tendons/muscles slightly over stretched. I have more mobility in my knee today still only a 80 degree rotation before it gets really tight but better. I finally consented to taking ibuprofen, I take meds for epilepsy and as a personal rule don't like taking other medication on top.
