Hi Guys

I've got this run out on the X9 forum and on Burgman UK Facebook. I have had a good response on all sides but the problem is that several people are on several sites, and some stick to one so won't be checking any others. This needs simplifying so that the definitive list of prospective attendees can be compiled. Any suggestions on how to do that would be welcome.

I intend setting up a separate email account so that I can send out a simple circular to all interested from whatever source with the latest news. (Unless, that is someone knows how to do a bulk email through the site)?

Although said to be a Burgman meet, any one is welcome. It would be fantastic for all Maxi riders to get together, (anyone on any 2 wheels welcome oh and on a Trike I would love to see a Burgman Trike or two).

I realise that for many of us will be waiting to see what the weathers doing or that some will have to check out work or family commitment which is fair enough. This is just a meet there's no financial commitment so don't be shy. Come if you can don't if you can't.
I am going to make a weekend of it travelling down part way on the Friday and staying over on the Saturday night. Returning some time on the Sunday. I do not expect anyone to do that unless they fancy it but I am not booking anything for others.
I will seek out a variety of accommodation and will put up some links.

I am waiting for a response from Duxford as regards a discounted entry. Its a few years since I have been and I am looking forward to it and seeing what's new.

This weekend I will be attempting to compile a list of interested people and put up an email address as above.

funky im in if thats all right, just want to get used to the ride, as not been out too much. just been getting it ready for two up, rack and topbox etc,etc, so if you dont mind me taggin on that would be great, since the date change to later, that is better for me anyways , will know later regarding the pre ride, but im up for it lad

Will you be meeting up prior to going to the museum

Hi - Yes the plan is to get together at a rendezvous point before going to the Museum. This is not a ride out though so there's no plans, as yet anyway, to go on a ride. The numbers are looking very good so it might be that some will want to go off. Others, like my lot will most likely go to the Museum for the afternoon. I've been a few years ago but its a great place. Loads to see.

I am thinking of trying to find a meeting point where we could have lunch before we go in. Any suggestions anybody?

There's a McD's nearby... also a few others but a bit further away... as for dodgy little cafe's I can have a look.

I would love to do this but may be it's just a bit to far for a run out for me !
I know most of you southerners think Manchester is almost Scotland but there is a bit more above that.
So the mid way for us is Birmingham, Cambridge is near as dam it London to me.
So I will have to wait for a meet up in the North?
