I recently brought tmax on a Monday V5 was thro door on Thursday same week .

I think the automated/web-based systems are still working fine, but anything that requires human intervention seems to be delayed.
My photocard licence is about to expire, so I've applied to renew that online...hopefully, that'll be OK!

Same with passports, pretty much. Probably benefit claims too, I should think.
