Rode to work.
Avoided angry white van man coming into my lane by punching the side of his van repeatedly.
Got to work.

I'm really considering fitting heated grips on my mk3.

I rode on Saturday with my new winter gloves, a pair of Richa Ice Polar GTX (or something). They cost around Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£100 pounds and my fingers were cold as hell. And I have the knuckle visors fitted as well. To the gloves' defence the temperature was touching 0C.
