Hi there,
I have bought into a Piaggio X10, coming down from a BMWF650GS, great bike. However, I didn't need all that power for town runs, coast rides etc... The 330cc is 'middle' ground, not too heavy to manoeuvre around and cheaper to run generally. For those interested the Piaggio X10 has an ECO mode for dual mapping, dropping the power to just above a 125cc engine. In theory it should increase mpg...but have yet to try it out! As I have owned several bikes in my time.... I believe Weather protection, comfort and power are key, but keeping an eye on costs is essential :D

That's the only downfall with the Atlantic... I'm currently getting about 130 miles from a full tank. Haven't sat down and done the maths in terms of mpg, but it usually lasts me about a week at £ late 11's / 12 per fill-up.

Usually rent a 200cc Sym whilst in Greece. Have to admit it's nice to get that bit of extra power when it comes to overtaking. You soon notice the difference when you get back home. :)

My friend has one and told me to have a test ride - he said you wont believe how good it is until you do.

I did, he was right, great handling and performance.
