looks very nice i like the x9 scoots my nephew had for a number of years,i didnt hear him complaining about it,took him to work ,
about 66 mile commute derby to leicester each day,he sold it for a car
Looks good Beardy, go for it. I am in Irlam and I use my X10 for commuting. Its surprising how agile the maxi scoots are> I have no trouble filtering and the weather protection is amazing.
good luck with the purchase.
Steering Head Bearing - with the front wheel in the air, check for a click/notch at dead centre.
Exhaust - not cheap to replace
Digidash - Ensure it all works including hazards and indicators.
Thanks mottza. Phoned them this morning to get some more history on it. Its been stood for a while (last owner was an older gentleman who had not ridden it in a while), with three owners in its life. I've got no worries about this as the dealer also has a workshop so they will make sure its in good order (should I buy it). No MOT either at the moment but again it will come with. Key question is though - does this model require (the infamous) Red key, as it doesn't seem to have one. If its anything like the old Fiats I've had, they can be a bugger to replace.
Going to see it this morning as soon as the wife gets back from dance class with the middle child. (Hurry up wife!)
Looks good at that price, but check them out fully, even though they are a shop. Their eBay feedback are 3 negatives in 8, not too good for customer service.
