45KW?????? Thats 60bhp! If true, thats 10 more than the S.wing and 5 more than the Burger and and as much as the BMWs! It should go rather faster than 100....The BMW quoted top speed is 109
Any one seen a weight figure quoted?
65mpg at 30 isn't that impressive....it'll be a lot less at real speeds.
Anyone seen a weight figure??

Somewhere today I read the spec as 40CV and 47nm of torque, not 45kw and 47nm as on the Sym site. I think it was the French Sym site. Or Scooter Station or somewhere like that. Just cannot remember which one. However, if that is the case that puts the power output at around 39.5hp or 40ps...ish! I reckon that is more likely if the torque figure is 47nm. The engine has been breed for torque not outright horsepower. That would no doubt be because it's a single cylinder engine of some size. Vibration would be a bit of a problem with a 65hp output in a single cylinder scooter! But it's anyone's guess I suppose at the moment.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

The more I think about what n where I ride I feel the 400 would do me fine, but I have a pang for a kymco xciting 400 as its less lardy but unavailable in the UK which is a shame!

So...BMW lardy, but not Burgman 650 lardy!
40bhp sounds a more reasonable figure.

The 600i has some significant differences to the existing 400i.

ABS

New Clutch design

New Air Intake system (two phase)

Different Cylinder design to increase cooling efficiency

Chassis and bodywork remains same

Have you considered a Joymax 300?

2014 models will be available with ABS and 'Stop/Start' technology - price will go up though!
