If a 125 is enough for your commute and you don't ride for fun then I can imagine it makes perfect sense. It's £80-£100 every couple of years and you don't have to bother passing your test. Personally I don't think people should be allowed to do this indefinitely, but that's another story.

I imagine folks consider the cost of lessons and a test (and the time commitment) and decide the convenience of not having to be bothered is worth the additional cost. Who knows?

At 65+ why do I want to ride a powerful scoot, I'm quite happy to ride for hours down the inside lane of motorways at 60 mph+, something the 125 Forza can do. For us old gits it has nothing to do with the CBT, just having a good low cost scoot to ride every day.

so i presume its nothing to do with what you want/need from your ride, its more what that individual will need or want to ride, call it a midi scoot

When I had an S-wing 125, it was no trouble passing lorries, the scoot would get up to an indicated 70mph (64mph on Sat-nav), with quick acceleration to that speed, from the couple of road tests so far, Honda has improved on the S-Wing, fitted a 4 valve head etc.

Must be billiard table flat and not at all windy where you live Dave and the truckers must all have properly functioning tachos and speed limiters?
No, the reality is that a post 1983 125 just doesn't have enough power for fast A-roads and motorways.

I'm thinking if you bought a new 125 Forza you'd spend hundreds more, putting another exhaust on it, one of those weird headlamp covers, a Brisk spark plug, and a load of other unnecessary junk just like you did with that Kawasaki J300, and the 250 Honda you've only had a few months and recently put up for sale.
i wouldnt buy the forza 125 as i think its too much money for what it is... unnecessary junk
its fun to dabble -i dont care particularly of your ride requirements or that you sprout off in a tangent in lots of topics/posts of your previous adventures or the clobber you bought - but hey we are all different.
Yes the cbr is now sold and awaiting new ride in a couple of weeks, but its not the forza 125
