Great ride. Popped into J&S Braintree to get some new gloves.
Day only ruined by some Xxxx Xxxx of a taxi driver was right up my backside and tried to swerve into me.
Called taxi Co. Don't want to know as he wasn't on duty.
Sitting outside with a cold beer chilling out now.

Thanks Funky for taking the time and effort to organise a good ride out. Weather was brilliant and it was nice to meet up with some familar faces and some new. Hats off to Steve who rode 90 miles from Norwich for this meet. As weather was so good took the long way home via High Beech and finally arrived back hone about 6.00 pm. Here's to the next one which I am led to believe will be a pie and mash run!
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift!

My apologies for this late reply. I had a fabulous day; the route was terrific. Thanks to all for the company and to Pete for leadership (and accident finder supreme). Mottza's Pie n Mash on the Saturday and a Midland meet at Ilkeston on the Sunday. (Although I can't do either.)
I'm off to Brighton for football on Friday night and Bexhill moto fest while I'm down that way.
Luckily,, to top a good weekend, we've got tickets for Wilko Johnson at Bexhill on Saturday night
