I'm sewing the foam end from one of those little stylus things onto my glove so that I can use the screen with my glove on.

The enclosure seems excellent and the mount system is cheaper than RAM but uses the same 1" ball so bits can be interchanged, except the quick release platform mounts directly on the ball instead of using double ended arms.

I will write it up once this storm passes and I get a chance to test it properly.

Took my Foresight 250 in for a mot, new rear tyre & a mini service last week. I knew it would fail on the rear tyre as it was worn close to the legal limit so I had booked the bike in a week in advance and given the garage the tyre size so they could get one in.
I rode the bike over and they said all the work would be done by 5 o'clock that day. I arrived at the appointed time ( after a horrendous journey on a bus that had arrived 40 minutes late and was full of rowdy school kids ) to be told that the tyre had not come in but they had done the other work and it had passed the mot.
They explained that due to cash flow reasons they dont actually order the tyres til they are needed and the parts guys van had broken down :?
So I have just spent 3 hours removing the exhaust, rear wheel, getting a new tyre fitted to the loose wheel and putting it all back together again.
It was actually a tougher job than I expected as it's a pattern exhaust and it was a pain lining up all the bolts and doing it all myself in a freezing cold unlit garage :(

Yesterday night I connected the battery and put back the screen. Started easily and now I'm about to take her for the first ride of the year and the 10k service. Temps are about -7 and there is still some snow on the roads and lots of salt.

Today I'll be also testing the new microwave-able gloves from the British Alago I got a month ago. :)

Edit:
Just came back from the ride. All went well, wasn't as cold as I thought. Went up to -3 quickly. The TMax with extra knuckle and leg protection does a good job.

There were some icy patches on the road but mostly around the house.

The gloves were just fine considering the price. They kept most of the hands warm with only the fingertips getting cold.

Yamaha service were scratching their heads a bit looking at it, being the only TMax in town and all. lol

Went to a Motorcycle dealer, no other customers about, except a friend I meet there. Seems like the Deauville is going, only available new in black now.
A round trip of 80 miles, but they have a good cafe on site, thanks Kent Motorcycles.
Did I say how good the S-Wing is?
Now one year old, 5,000 miles, no problems.
