Dave Weller wrote:Went to a Motorcycle dealer, no other customers about, except a friend I meet there. Seems like the Deauville is going, only available new in black now.
A round trip of 80 miles, but they have a good cafe on site, thanks Kent Motorcycles.
Did I say how good the S-Wing is?
Now one year old, 5,000 miles, no problems.

Yesterday...
Braved the cold and fitted the Dr Pulley Rollers and Mitsuboshi belt... Belt and Rollers were the originals rom new and had seen 26,000 miles, belt was still in service limits, but the rollers had flat spots, one down to the metal, and another had the outer cracked, with a bit that had come loose...
Lots of arsing about - had to mod the holder as it would not open wide enough with the lock screw bracket - so bent that out the way... then the allen head screws holding the variator roller cap rounded, so slotted with a dremel etc... Dr pulley sliding pices didnt fit the variator top so stayed with the OE yam ones...
Today...
Took the scoot for a test run, all seems fine! - Oil change with Halfords finest 5x40 fully synth, and changed the front pads, EBC SFAs Rears still hve a fair bit of meat on em... Need to change the front disk and have an EBC waiting in the garage, but hopefully it can wait till a new tyre is needed, save teh faffing about twice!

Gotta check the tappets at some point...

Gonna treat the car to an Oil and Filter change tommorow - From Halfords or Motorfactor oil is £30 and Filte about a £10 - so i'll let but Kwick Fit do it for £45 on their ramps, save grovaling about under the car in the cold, and i'll do the air filter!
