Yes Colin if you're stuck, I made it at work with some 3mm steel, I measured out for the pins & cut a hole with a hole saw, I got a mate to trim off the outside edge with the guillotine. The handle was Just lying around so I made use of it

Painted hammerite under the front mudguard seam on the LML as this is a common place for corrosion to start on these scoots and their Vespa px cousins. They are also a pain to replace compared to a lot of other scooters and bikes.
Also disconnected the indicator buzzer as although I realise it's a safety feature I find it really embarrassing negotiating all the traffic lights and roundabouts in town with the scoot going Beep Beep Beep Beep

Stripped my Burgman 400 CVT. The cover with bearing came off fairly easy. The oem double toothed belt looked ok but most of the variator rollers were like a 50p piece with plenty of hardened dust in it, but not as much as I was expecting. My £19 delivered 12v Impact wrench easily took the variator nut off, a real recommendation with no holding tool needed, just a hand hold of the finned plate. Ordered 8x 26x13 17.5g rollers from LLexeter on fleabay and were dispatched same day. Also when open changed to Final Drive oil, only 5 minute job. The 5 shoe clutch has loads of life left. Cleaned everything in preparation to fit the rollers and re assemble.

What Impact wrench did you invest in?
