Have you decided what to use on Saturday yet? ;)

Had a Blond moment today.

Could not get the Matrix started, it was turning over fine just wouldn't catch, left it for a few min;s and tried again.
Still puzzled, i phone the dealers. " Is the Kill switch in the run position?"..............

It is now!! started just like that.

So now i will have the "P" taken when i next pop in for a coffee.

After all that, went for a short ride.

Took it to the seaside!! 130 mile round trip to Hornsea, bit of a wander round, fish & chips at Sullivans. New tyres nicely scrubbed in now! Bloody windy both ways crossing the Humber Bridge, but free!!

Really wanted to see what's happening to the Floral Hall there, council want to knock it down and make a car park, residents want to keep it. The place has got lots of memories for me, my Dad was floor manager there in the 60's. Hope they keep it as a venue for the town.
As I grow older, my mind doesn't just wander......sometimes it buggers off completely!!
You can't avoid growing up, but you can be immature all your life!

Fitted my new Givi screen, bloomin humongous, can just about peep over the top of it :o
Dont know if the holes for the black thing that covers the screws are slightly out, as I managed to snap the central lug off it trying to get it to sit closer to the screen. Also disappointed that they have not painted the inside like the standard Suzi screen.
The last time I bought a Givi screen, was for a Triumph Trophy and they had painted that.

Then fitted my SW Motech mount for my Garmin. Everything went fine apart from having to cut the lower handlebar shroud, thought it would be easy ,but ended up a bit untidy, trying to cut it on my lap with a ful sized hacksaw.
But at least I've finally got these jobs done while its briefly stopped raining.
Next job fitting pannier brackets and a fenda extenda, will probably drill through the tyre knowing my luck

Realized I put the forks on the wrong way round in the yoke when I went to put the wheel in having managed to get the steering column back in place and done up... have to drop it out again so I can undo the top caps and swap them over.

After sheltering from the rain for a month, the X9 was treated to a 15 mile ride and a full tank of petrol (ready for Hastings). Checked the oil and it needs topping up. Damned X9 Oil Filler is behind the plastics so not a 2 min job :(

Nexus is now in one piece and is running 100% spot on... any one want buy a Nexus?

Took it for a test run and I have to say I missed it... its weird I kinda feel like I prefer it to the TMax but that might be down to the Dr Pulleys and the fact I rode it for 5 years over 26K miles and have done all the work on it my self apart from the stator and 1 chaffed wire. Its taught me a lot and given me a lot of fun back. She must go and I might get some Dr Pulleys for the TMax :D
