both the workshop manual and owners manual statesStevenM wrote:mine say 42 psi on the front and back, i have always inflated to this!!!!!michaelphillips wrote:i have had a pirelle diablo on the front for nearly 2 years, caim on when i got scoot, i have found it to be very grippy, warms up well and have never had any problems with it, i run the front at 30 psi cold which warms up to 34 psi in use, you can always tell if it goes down to 28 psi cold , not sure whether to get another or go with bridgestone, as i like the rear battleaxe i got fitted, the H rate tyre is more expensive than say the s rated tyres
Tyre pressure (cold) front 2.1 bar
Tyre pressure (cold) rear 2.3 bar (2.5 bar with passenger)
which is 30 psi front and i am 2 up for 50% of time so i go with the later for rear which is 36 psi COLD Tyres
bridgestone and other tyre manufacturers have there own thoughts and are usually 2 psi higher.. yet the owners manual is specific to the model, weight of machine etc..
if you are doing 42 psi when cold tyres they will rise by another 4 psi when running through friction,
you will have a bumpy ride

their centres, not advised and also loss of forward traction
