Took one of my original rearview mirrors and cut an 8cm section out of the stem to shorten it. I'll let you know how it goes...

Changed the final drive oil, cleaned out the CVT housing, deglazed the clutch shoes, cleaned & polished the 400. Cleaned & polished the 650
Cleaned the wife's car have to keep in the good books

Played with one of my OEM mirrors and shortened it 8cm!

Fitted my handlebar muffs which were purchased years ago for my old Burger 400. Bagster ones, fit the Silverwing just as well.....

I am running the Orions, but with my GIVI AirFlo they are a bit hidden behind the edge of the hand -protection edge of the screen. I was looking at some SCHAFT Rusty mirrors, that would work better; sit a bit higher and further outboard...but about $250/pair!
Modifying my existing OEM mirrors would cost almost nothing. Did the first one, and it's PERFECT!
Here are pictures after I put the modified mirror on. No more edge obstruction, and it doesn't have the handgrip (and so your HAND) in the field of view, as it sits higher.
