I thought of spraying, but when I did my Nexus 500 wheels in black it was just so annoying having to sand down the wheels, clean, then under coat, and sand, and clean, and blah blah blah. I just went tight off the idea. I made a good job of them but didn't like the process.

With wrapping its like having a temporary tattoos or henna tattoo, you can keep playing with ideas with out throwing too much money away, sure I bought £100 worth of wrap but its overkill I could probably have gotten away with only spending £60 or less if I got straight white rather than pearlescent.

I could never get a real tattoo on my body as I would change my mind a year later.

I am definitely changing back to white this weekend, it looks all wrong and unbalanced.

Ripped off the black and red and came up with this

On this close up of the transmission cover you can see the difference between the cool colored painted pearlescent white/blue compared to the wrapped warm colored pearlescent white/blue

So its been a while since I last updated, I had a bit of a break as the missus was getting annoyed by the hair dryer on weekends.

So yesterday I was working on the back end panels... they are a real biatch to do! Where the three large flat surface's meet to a point makes it very difficult to take out the wrinkles formed so after my 3rd go I gave in and had to create seams.

I really did not want to do it but it was the only way, so to minimize how the seams would look I decided that different colours would work best. Its also best as I am running out of the expensive (£20 a metre) white blue pearlescent thanks to the cockups.

Am close to finishing, just need to do the other rear side, tank cover, steering column cover, front mudguard and any decals I fancy putting on... and last of all Plastidiping the nuts/screws the appropriate colors.

Its actually three... I put a double layer black stripe on the underside section of that panel as it gets filthy from road dirt and peppered by small stones.

Thanks! :D

Wow, it looks so good I missed that. :)
Smart thinking with the black under.

Seriously the tail, even accidentally, is a great success!
