Re: Daelim 250 S3 Advance
But overall, it sounds like a solid bike. You're our Forza test pilot!

Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Did a single tank 217 mile run today From Newcastle to Scarborough and Whitby and got an incredible 94.4 mpg. This is an excellent scooter and I would recommend it to anyone, you'll not be disappointed.

I see one at a local dealer and was impressed and the reviews here have only reinforced my first opinions .

A full parts catalogue for the Daelim S3 250 (SV250) Advance

My local friendly Honda dealer has a dealer link to MotoGB and I requested certain parts for a forthcoming service that I may do..... MotoGB only had a generic spark plug CR9EH-9 at a silly price of £14.35, £6.44 on eBay with free delivery and an air filter (17211SAB0000) in stock at £17.92, I'll try to see if a Honda or generic air filter is available when I take it out as a pattern. Probably all I need for now but they stated a belt (of unknown size) and rollers (of unknown weight) are a factory order? From the above link the 6x rollers are 25g each.
I suppose the drawback of buying a little known brand but MotoGB being the importers should support their dealers and buying public better.

Re: Daelim 250 S3 Advance
An option for your air filter is buy this sheet of Ramair material and use the old one as a template to cut out a replacement, I've done that very successfully so far for SH125, X9 250Evo & 500Evo. Cheaper and better air filter performance.bornagainbiker wrote:A full parts catalogue for the Daelim S3 250 (SV250) Advance

Re: Daelim 250 S3 Advance
After an oil change at 1850 mile on the 1st March, today I did a 4000 km (2500 mile) service and took photos of the basket and front tray removal to gain access to the spark plug. The air filter looks like I'll need an OEM as it's a whole inner plastic unit system, but if I recall when we checked last October it was about £20 and they had it in stock at the dreaded MotoGB HQ.

Hmmm - it looks like it has a huge amount of space under the seat, so why does it have difficulty with full face helmets????

Re: Daelim 250 S3 Advance
Looks like that bracing bar takes up a bit of space though, as it hoops over the air intake tube.
