true, for mega mileage like gn2 does it would stand to reason to buy the forza at 8000 miles intervals or the yamaha 250 at 6000 miles intervals, so well done there gn2 on a fine purchase :D but when i looked at the service intervals of the 300`s it was not a factor i needed to take into consideration, if i bought a forza i would still have the annual service to do, to keep the warranty going.. so i went for something i liked, thinking of two years down the line in case there were new models to choose from, first 600 service done then the 3000 miles one and i will do the rest :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Well yeah I've nearly had the Joymax 2 years and still enjoying the machine. Had a battery failure a few weeks ago which was a pain, as I thought it was solenoid. So took a few days to get it sorted only to find out it was the battery! Then another couple of days waiting for a new battery from eBay. But that's been the only issue. Now just coming up for 12000kms. 7500 miles in two years.

I'd have already bought one if MotoGB had ever had the slightest interest in enabling me to buy one. It's a strange distributor who refuses to publicise or distribute, they are basically killing the brand for SYM in the UK.

I can only guess the Taiwanese are too daft to notice. After all, they did yank the contract from Moore and Large without notice so I can only think they are still as dumb today.

I suppose someone could go and place a note on the taiwan site and their facebook sites explaining the situation in hope that they will take notice, state this site is the only maxi scoot site in the UK so the vast majority of potential buyers are here or at least that a lot of folk are pissed off as for the reasons stated above, see if you get any feedback.

I just bought an SYM Joymax Sport from my dealer I've been using for years. I went in on a Friday and ordered one in, it was there a week later. The distributor is not the greatest I agree, but I have had no problem getting an SYM I wanted. My older GTS 250 also took a week to arrive from the same dealer under the previous distributor .
Current rides

SYM Joymax Z+ 300 2022+
SYM Mask 125 2019-

Where is your dealer?
Did you get to see one before you bought it?

go to greater london motorcycles in edgware middlesex , sym dealers , they will only stock 125 sellers , others will be ordered in , look at the youtube reviews , i bought mine on spec no test ride etc and love the joymax 300i abs , they are so unknown in the uk which is BS but top top machines , 40 plus years on bikes no hesitation in recommending sym
