Re: RTA
The 08 is what I saw when I was speaking to Aviva about the write off value, there are chips in the paint towards the rear and scrapes on the tunnel section from what I can see... so that being near £4k standard and mine having almost new tyres, the zorst and wind deflectors and no paint chips/scratches made me think I want more.michaelphillips wrote:so if they saying £4500 max, is this for the scoot and the helmet etc are separate![]()
around that price they seem to be about 18,000 miles what i have seen,,, there are two at alfs motorbikes... if you could throw some dosh in £1500 then you could get there 2013 13 reg YAMAHA XP XP530 T-MAX BLACK MAX (13MY), Automatic, Scooter, Petrol, 5,722 miles. BLACK, BLACKMAX WITH AKARAPOVIC EXHAUST as this way you wont be getting a 2009 to 2011 500 tmax ... http://www.alfsmotorcycles.co.uk/locato ... -13my.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you would be getting a good deal.. if you can get the dosh somehow, seems thinking forward with return values for the future the above could be a good investment![]()
they also have a 2008 tmax http://www.alfsmotorcycles.co.uk/locato ... p-500.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and they down the coast from you near spaceprobe
The 530 is tempting but not sure if I can justify it.... are those straps for a leg cover???

Re: RTA
looks like the previous owner might have commuted to work with a leg cover, maybe up to london etc would account for the 5000 miles at dual carriageway speed, list questions on paper is easiest when ringing a dealer, as i always forget something

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Re: RTA
Looking at how much my scoot is worth I will damn well make sure I win this one... I just hunted around and to replace my scoot with one that has close to similar mileage and condition averages at £4600 add on the extras and new tyres and such, that's pretty much £6000 so I'll take what I can get from the insurance and let the solicitors try and get the rest.

Re: RTA
Not sure but I suspect by accepting any insurance offer you'll have committed to that amount and won't have further redress, check with your solicitor but would've thought you'd have to reject their offers (if it comes to it) and merely let solicitor handle.Funkycowie wrote:Looking at how much my scoot is worth I will damn well make sure I win this one... Re: RTA
The discussion about the value of your scoot will purely be between you and your insurers. The legal claim you will be mounting is for 'uninsured losses' - compensation for injuries, loss of income, damaged possessions, insurance excess or other losses you have suffered not covered by your insurance policy. As the scoot is an insured loss, I doubt that the legal claim could include anything further in respect of the scoot.
