Cold but dry bimble on the SH125 to the Hut and back, via Loughton (i think) for a Weatherspoons breakfast and a warm up...
Nice to see a collection of muppets and scooters...
A 'Thank you' to Funky for the invitation to try a TMax...
Had a quick run up the road on what is clearly his pride an joy by its presentation...
Very nice, very responsive, and the twin engkne making it feel a fair bit more eager than the 400 single on the XMax, 'prolly more so than the extra cc's... Fastest i'd been all week ;)

Good turn out today of muppets and associated friends. Also, large contigent of C90 owners which was nice to see. Hat off to Ged, who rode up from the Sussex coast (200 plus mile round trip), on his C90.
Hope those that went on to Maldon enjoyed their trip.
Thanks to all who turned up.
Hope someone took a few pictures and can post in the appropriate section.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift!

Hi All.....Good turn out, good to meet a few people, faces to names ect, good to see the old farts i already knew :D changed my mind about the route as soon as i pulled out the end of my road, left home earlier than planned, taking A45,A15,A1 then through Potters Bar to meet Poldark and Barry at the cafe just outside Enfield, longer route then M1 route, but a prettier bimble,if i started to run late, the major "A"roads would of allowed me to crank it up a bit.As always at bikers tea stops always a huge selection of differents machines.

Someone told me a different way to pick the M25 up on my return, thats a much better route to it than the one i have used before returning home from High Beech.....Thanks.

Nice ride home,as it was dry i took a longer route home,M25 for one junction taking the A10 up to Royston, then i turned off going through an assortment of little villages coming out in Sandy, then the A603,A421 connecting me to the A428 Northampton Road.....the old feet were a tad cold when i got home, but a nice hot shower sorted that out 8-)

My 2014 Tmax is up for sale,i'll take some pictures and post in the relevant section.

Good to see everyone, new and (very) old, today.

When the weather improves a few more than the hardy, mainly C90, souls who went to Maldon might have a rideout from High Beech. But still nice to just meet and chat, certainly a productive meet for me. Thanks to Roger for the bar muff gift & michaelp for various GTR300 bits & bobs.

Sorry we didn't get a chance to natter Ged, hope you're back home and warming up by now!

Terry continued his approach of arriving in some new form of transport, other than two wheels, but we let him off because he has frisbees and always a new story to tell (oops).

Just a couple of pics I took sadly towards the end when most had gone (memory going already), funnily enough most of mine seemed to have a GTR300 in them.

What a grand day out!

Thanks to Roger RoadRunner for organisation duties! Not bad to get so many folk out in February so big pat on the back where it's due mate and to Richie for getting the word out to the C90 crew.

Between the two forums' members I think we had about 75% of the bike park covered at one point.

Like Paul, I took the opportunity to have a an unofficial test ride. Mine was on Bill Dog's (see latest Twist'n'Go magazine) multiple-ironbutt-achieving Kymco Downtown 300i, a ride I'll probably regret financially!

It ended up as a 220 mile round trip for me on the C90, mostly motorway.

The only issue I had on the M25 was a cock on a sports bike doing 130 mph + in the left hand lane undertaking traffic, for a brief moment about 2 inches from my elbow!

I cleared the gallery on my phone in readiness for taking loads of photos ... and took one ... of my Cub at the visitor's centre where I stopped for a wizz.

Hopefully Funky will have been busy with his camera as I was busy chatting bollox with everyone.

There will be other chances mate. Short duration, many folk, and much bollox to chat about so inevitably convos get missed ... well postponed anyway. :)

Shame I couldn't make it. Just in the warm 18c sunshine on the Staten Island ferry going past the statue of liberty.
