I know I've only amassed a relatively small collection of tools, but what is a "wherewithal" as I'm sure I don't yet have one and it sounds like it's worth having?anonstarter wrote:Yesterday Mister Raven used his wherewithal to twist out 8 (two on each calliper & two on each reservoir) winter seized bolts -that I'd managed to almost round off - so we could change the brake pads and fluids! Raven you're a star!

It's no secret, Translated it equates to one hammer, one T40 torx bit, a little bit of heat and a lot of luckBluebottle wrote:Raven has got one. Maybe we can borrow his?

Took it to the seaside!
Bit extreme really, 'cos we only live 15 miles from the coast, but me and Mrs B decided to do a 170 mile round trip to Hunstanton. All the car parks were stacked out with bikes, but I reckon mine was the only Maxi there.
The Wing did attract a fair bit of attention though, mostly about the engine size - "600? Bloody hell, I bet it can shift!" Certainly can!

As I grow older, my mind doesn't just wander......sometimes it buggers off completely!!

Emptied-out my Isuzu NPR work truck and installed a pair of motorcycle locking wheel chocks and fitted the two Tmaxes for our trip to the Sierra Nevada mountains next week. We'll haul 'em there in comfort the first 500 miles,; then the FUN begins!
We are doing a four day Sierra Passes Tour, back and forth across the mountain range, starting the first day through Yosemite. Should be an EPIC tour!
