Could have been worse I guess.

I suppose, just seems that the bike wants money all the time. Mind you brand new Conti Twist on the front. Annoying I won't have a chance to scrub it in before the X9OC bash.

Ferret: Current set are Bridgestone Battlax somethings... I know the new ones are Bridgestone Battlax SC's, I'd say its more down to my riding style and where I ride than tyres, I know I don't ride like people think you should ride.

Rotated the rear wheel to find the size markings before ordering a new one.
Honda spare part price £180ish not fitted

I'm always amazed when people use a dealer for their tyres, just throwing your money away.

Either specialist tyre shop (loose wheels) or online buy and local fitter, unless you're one of the really clever people who can fit themselves.

£255 lighter in the pocket, £85 Front, £98 Rear, £15 per wheel, then Tax.

The main reason for me taking in the TMax was the R&G Spindle Protector has two stainless steel screws that lock on to the spindle... these had welded themselves in and the protector had welded itself on.

These should of been greased apparently, my guess is when I got rear ended two years ago Carole Nash's repair mechanics did not grease them when putting it back together and over two years of washing, rain, and two winters have buggered it.

Mark, the owner of the Yammy dealership, offered to fit a new one free if I purchased another as they had to ruin the original getting it off. Felt sorry for the mechanics working on it as they had already worked through their lunch. No extra charger on the work. Michael: Any idea what the Ecopia tyres say on the side wall? Mine just say Bridgestone Battlax SC R, did 95 miles this afternoon to scrub them in... they do feel much more solid than the TH01's I had on and I thought they were solid as it was

cant get a sidewall pic off google to see if different , i know the car tyres state ECOPIA on the walls but not sure on the scoot ones, i suppose it would be written on the sticker they pull off.. the sc is a great improvement (so some muppets have said) over theTH01 as its more rounded, pedropete had one on his nexus and said how easier it was to change direction etc, that reminds me i havent been round to see pete, sos pete if you read this the ecopia has 15% less rolling resistance, so supposed to be more fuel efficient etc

removed a broken bolt from my monkeybike hub, fitted new bolts, had a short blast out, jobs a goodun.

Borrowed a cordless Dremel and cut away some of the underseat ABS plastic on the 500 Evo, to allow the seat to sag further under my botty. It helps stop you sliding forward when jarred by bumps, I am planning to fit new shocks when funds allow and I've made a decision on which ones, but this certainly helps.

I learnt this trick from the previous owner of my French 250 Evo, which he'd already done it on and worked well.

Picked up the x9. Nice new conti twist on the front. Improved the handling and removed a wobble. Just needs scrubbing in.
