first trip in 2012

Moderate -5°C in the morning, but still no snow in sight. (Only for 2 days in December.)
If the winter doesn't visit me, I will visit him. So I went down to the "Schwarzwald".
Just after the last town the "Schwarzwaldhochstrasse" (B500) is covered with hoar frost. Defensive driving. Last mist at the "Mehliskopf":
I walked up to the "Badener Höhe", the northmost >=1000m hill in the Schwarzwald. Some shadows in the forest:
At the top of the Badener Höhe a look to my next destination, "Hornisgrinde", the highest hill in northern Schwarzwald.
My scooter at "Mummelsee", already 1029m altitude

On the top, some (abandoned) military buildings
View to France with the Vosges hills.
I could even see the Swiss alps with the mountain "Tödi", but my old camera couldn't take the picture.
Carefully back over some short patches of snow and ice, 300km and 2 hikes this day.
