I had it in my head that UK pricing had already been suggested around £7500, did I imagine that as it sure looks these'll be every bit as pricey as TMax & B650 at circa £9k.

If that's the price then surely the tried and tested t max is a better option!

Since i've got this self-made rule of not buying any bikes over £3000, i wonder how many years it will have to be before i can get a second hand C600 for up to 3k...
Probably 2018...

Same prices announced in France- I make that £9250 for the C600 and £9540 for the C650 at €1.2 = £1 (which it was the other day).
Wow...
Makes the TMax seem like a bargain!!!!! I specifically recall that in an interview in a mag, a high ranking BMW honcho claimed that their maxis' were going to compete with the TMax on price. I guess you can see BMW's calculation Tmax is £8800, so our scoot goes faster, has more luggage space, has ABS so we'll charge £500 more for it. I guess the real surprise is that the difference between the C600 and C650 is so small.
I'd like a GT model, but I can't see me buying a new one in the near future!!!

Makes the Honda NC700x much more appealing to me.
That's a hell of a lot of dough, over 10 grand for the higher spec gt. The Burgman 650 executive is £8175 on the road with heated grips/seat so even that starts to look attractive, if a little dated.
That Aprilia may be £7300 but you'll be forking out masses on services bills so it's not really value for money.
