whitehouse swanley again..... me son is using his momma's cb600f..... the fork seals have gone...phoned whitehouse for a quote of £195

smaller local shop is doing it for £100.. not bad when you consider the seals are £15... dust covers £10.. oil £15..

why is the big shop double the cost..?

double the council rates to pay
double the electric bill
more staff
more insurance because more staff
basiclly the bigger the place the higher the cost to keep it open

hence my scoots go to a 1 man band garage with very little overheads

downside is he hasnt got the buying power of the big boys

whats annoying is i can do em meself...done loads.... but...its me ex's bike......lol..... get on ok with her an stuff..... but nah..! aint gerrin involved
