Ok slightly larger than my 250cc maximum but ive seen a 2007 SH300 with just over 12k. It has top box & screen and looks in good clean condition and advertised for £2300 with an independent dealer. What would be a fair offer for it do you think, perhaps start @ 2k ?

Something worth bearing in mind with one of those at that mileage is the drive belt. The belt costs about £100 without fitting. I'd check that is been done before negotiating. It should have been changed around the 10,000 mile mark.

Raceways near me have one in with 10K, 08 plate and no screen or box for about £2600, so its a good price.

Sounds a fair price to me,but get the belt done as said earlier.
They are a great scooter to ride.

Mileage is now at 9100 and it has had the 8000 mile service carried out by Honda main dealer. Price still same at £2250.00 for a cracking little scooter.

SWMBO has partially pulled the plug financially so an SH300 is now off the cards as its unlikely I will get one for sub 2k. Frustrating but I understand where she is coming from so its back to the drawing board.
