I know a lot don't like it but I do!
This month has reviews of the BMW 600/650, the Aprilia SRV850 and the nice looking Kymco Downtown 125i.

They really seem to like the Aprilia. In fact they rave about the handling...

"Effortlessly changes direction, with lightning speed. It can hold a very tight line, even while hitting broken tarmac, mid corner"
"The suspension is superb"

This contrasts with MCN's review........

" But it does not, as Aprilia claims, handle like a sports bike. At least not one made during the last quarter-century.

"The handling is vague". The front wheel feels far away, which it is. The suspension seems under-damped. I’m under 12stone and when I sat on the bike the handlebars descended by a good 40mm before rebounding by a couple.

On highs-speed bumps both front and rear suspension threatens to bottom out. It feels heavy, bulky and as long as a canoe."

Who can you believe?? Not sure.... But in my opinion, MCN have always been a bunch of scooter hating greebos.

MCN is written in the main for little children to read, or stare at the pictures. If it's doesn't look like a sport bike and go like one, it's no good.

PS. no offence to any MCN readers, who, being scooter owners are obviously not little children!!! :o

PPS. I buy MCN just to ridicule it...but apparently it's just changed it's format somewhat and I haven't yet seen it. So gotta buy it yet again to find out what it's like now.... :o

I was getting all excited by the look of the Kymco 125. And the price, which they state in the report and in the Spec as £2299.
T n G even say the alternative choice xmax125, is £1600 more at £3899

But having a look on the official website it says £3299 :(
I don't fancy it so much at that price.
