Hi there;
Anybody bought any thing from Australian bikers gear on ebay?
I'm considering getting a pair of
these kevlar jeans and just wondered if anyone had bought any of the Australian Biker gear or dealt with these UK based distributors?

I bought one of their jackets a few years back and still use it now.

I've got thre Jacket and trousers. Good protection. I would definitely go for the jeans. When I got the gear I had a slight problem. In the end I didn't bother but the distibutor was willing for me to return the problem item. I would use them again.

I've got a pair of the Kevlar Cargo jeans.not worn them as yet though, made in Pakistan, pretty thin denim, but bought for summer use anyway, comes with knee and hip protection.
To me they seem to be the same quality as an average pair of cheap jeans, but you get what you pay for.. You wont know if they are any good till you have an off.
Also got a pair of their hiviz trousers, again made in Pakistan, seem to be good quality, warm and appear to be waterproof, but yet to wear in torrential rain.

I've had a pair of jeans for a few years now. Good fit, decent quality as far as I can tell. The stitching on mine looks a little odd compared to normal jeans, but that's due to the kevlar inserts. No complaints from me, and the price when I bought them was pretty good compared to what else was on the market at the time.
They are quite warm to wear, but I can't tell you how they fare in an incident though.

They look pretty good actually. They do have a decent amount of kevlar in them - some, even rather expensive makes (unlike Hood and Draggin), have a bit of Kevlar round your arse, a bit more at the knees and nothing else anywhere else which doesn't seem a good idea to me....

I have some Hood jeans and they are very comfy. Not sure how much they are now compaired to the ones in the link.

Yes, I have a hi-vis armoured textile jacket from them.
For "Australian" read "Pakistani".

Hood Jeans are around £100 without armour - but you do get lot of expensive Kevlar. Hood also have a posher brand called Kyrano (or something like that) which cost around £200 - but at least they are fully armoured.

I've had Draggin' Jeans and had an off in them, I had a slight graze on my knee from the Kevlar but the wound was kept clean and healed very quickly. The waterproof version was just that, waterproof.
You could but Kevlar underwear and wear with heavy duty jeans.
