ANY ONE Attending? I dont normally ride up that way but I fancied a break in the area got myself a cheapish room for 5 nights (appeased hubbie with museum trips in the area) and with the charity ride on Sunday as my last day in the area, so will bike and car down that way.
as it's for charity and I always fancied dropping in on the bikers pit stop in Rugby..

Unfortunately, there's a couple of runs planned for that weekend.
Julian and his Ugly Scooter club are off to the South West and a few Uglys are up near Buxton for the Sat and Sun!

Plus the scooter rally season has started, and a few of us frequent them on the Friday/Saturday so Sunday is recovery day.

I'll probably be the only old git on a Silver Wing on a charity ride up to Catterick next month, it's from that Squires Cafe bikers haunt in Sherburn in Elmet, fine if you like that sort of place. I'm not going there hoping to meet other Muppets although I'm sure some have also signed up. Riding in a large group along the A64 and up the A1(M) won't be particularly interesting either, I'm up and down past Catterick regularly all year round, but it's worth doing to give financial and moral support to the squaddies based up there, and that's what it's all about for me.
What's the date and details of this run from Squires?
