I was out and about today and ended up in Whitton [near Twickenham] and came across a new clothing shop for all kinds of gear for bikes and scooters,
I went in to have a look and was a bit taken back by some of the empty shelves,,I went over to the helmets as I'm looking to replace my old Nolan and tried on a couple of Cabergs, when the salesman, Matt [nice bloke you might know him] came over and asked me if I wanted any help.

I told him I was looking to buy a new helmet and as we went through the range I asked him how long had the shop been here in Whitton high street ? He told me that they opened on 21st April, so only just over 1 week, that explained the limited stock then, I said.
No we were burgled on Saturday night and all the boots and leathers went out the back door, so the stock has been severely depleted and we are struggling to keep afloat. So like a good Samaritan I said I would tell everybody I know in the forums and clubs I belong to about this shop and see if I can get some more customers.
He thanked me and said “in return if I could get a few together [minimum 5] he will give us a 10% discount on helmets and other stuff". So if anyone wants to buy a new helmet or some other gear give me a shout and we can have a mini meet [free parking on the front] and take a look at the gear they have got left.
The main gear they sell is Spada but lots of other gear by sidie, He did say he was hoping to replace the stolen stock as soon as finances permit. In the meantime please report any dodgy geezers who offer you some new boots without their boxes...scum

the address
GEAR 4 GEARS
33-35 High Street
Whitton
TW2 7LB

they are open 7 days a week

Yes, but it takes an age to get the dosh out of them and they are arguing about the security of the place. To replace the stock that was stolen will take some time and cash up front.

slightly off topic

our new kidderminster branch was broken into the other weekend

didnt steal much just some coppers left in the till

they trashed the shop on the way out

we got a great pic off our cctv of the bloke and the doughnut knocked the oils off the shelf which then split

he then fell over trying to leave
