Latest rumours from Scooter Station are that the BMW C600 will be delayed until at least June, whilst the C650GT won't arrive until late summer!!! There must have been some fairly major problem somewhere!

That's for France, I've heard that the TGS won't arrive in the UK till spring next year.

That's a bummer but I'm pleased that they seem to be taking the time to correct problems and not just rush the scooters out and fix problems after....

Pity they built it with a squinty crankshaft.

Don't know if anyone's interested but I rang BMW Vines (Guildford) to check up on availability of the new scooters and they reckon end of the year / January 2013. BMW want to get the bike right before it's released for sale they said. (and don't want to avoid the negative publicity having to recall all the bikes for dodgy plastics I'm guessing). I'm also guessing that BMW may not have had too much to do with the build of these bikes if it's come to this.

AFAIK BMW just bolt the bits together in Germany with the actual manufacturing done in the far east.

Surely the price will have to be revised, can't see them ever being a success unless it is reduced somewhat.
