FUCK! SMIDSY by a lorry this morning!

So i'm stationary at a zebra crossing waiting for pedos to cross, and a truck pulling out from a side street drives into me!

I guess Tarka was right, and hi-vis is pointless...

Yeah just shaken.

Bike not damaged, i felt something pushing the topbox and rear mudflap (his bumper and front left tyre), saw the truck and (managing to keep it upright) rode thru the pedestrian crossing. They looked weird at me, and i stopped just past to check for damage and gesture at the lorry driver

I just cant believe he first didnt see me, and second was going to enter a crossing with people on it in about 3 seconds anyway...

Truck as in Articulated Lorry type? - LHD, Foreign maybe?

Saw a similar thing at Westminster Bridge. Lorry waiting to turn down the embankment - bumped and nearly pushed over a young girl on a scoot waiting at the lights as he kept creaping forwards... Cleraly didn't see her, probably down to the height difference, and only stopped as i was shouting and sounding the horn. She was shaken up and in tears, but not hurt, and didnt want to stop! just wanted to get to her destination...
